Here is a brief explanation of the holidays:
Alpha Omega New Year Day 0/0 is at the Vernal Equinox
This day represents the beginning (Alpha) and the end (Omega) of God’s year. The day is represented by 0/0 on the calendar. It falls between Saturday, February 30 and Sunday, March 1 on the New Jerusalem Calendar. So every year is a 3 day holiday weekend (Saturday, AO New Year Day, Sunday). Celebrate your New Year’s Eve parties every year on Saturday night and the next day is 0/0 and a global holiday for humanity. On leap years, we add another day, which is Alpha Omega Leap Day with the date number 0/1. So you get a 4 day holiday weekend. How awesome is that? Pretty awesome I know. So when is 0/0? The equivalent Gregorian calendar date is March 20. Think of having two different calendars. On the 1582 AD Pope Gregory XIII (Gregorian) calendar the date is March 20. On the New Jerusalem Calendar the date is 0/0. So on March 20 Gregorian time it is the same time of year as 0/0 Alpha Omega New Year Day on the New Jerusalem Calendar. The time of year when daytime is about equal to nightime at the Vernal Equinox in the Northern Hemisphere. The goal is to wean society off of the Gregorian calendar and have the nations adopt the New Jerusalem Calendar for a new era in the Kingdom of God and Jesus Christ on Earth. Let’s go through the rest of the days.
March 1 (1/1) John the Baptist Birthday:
John the Baptist kicks off the year by announcing the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.
March 10 (1/10) Palm Tuesday:
Celebrates Jesus coming to Jerusalem as the Passover Lamb on the tenth of the first month to match the story in the Holy Bible.
March 14 (1/14) Passover:
Celebrates having the saving message of Jesus in your home.
March 15-21 (1/15 – 21) Feast of Unleavened Bread:
Jesus has the Last Supper with his disciples and gets taken away to be crucified on Good Friday this week. Spiritual unleavened bread is sincerity and truth. People are supposed to get the spiritual leavened bread of malice and wickedness out of their house and fill it with the spiritual unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. So basically, it means try to be nice to others. This is a high holy week of Christianity because it is the time that Jesus was on trial and then crucified and buried and also the time in the Old Testament of the Holy Bible that the tribes of Israel did the Exodus from Egypt.
March 22 (1/22)
Easter:
It is a time known as the resurrection day of Jesus. Easter is a day for all people to be saved from pagan (not Holy Bible God centered) religions. The word Easter is derived from Ishtar who was a pagan goddess with a pagan religion related with Nimrod, Semiramis, and Tammuz. Jesus came for all people to save them and bring them to God. So on Easter we celebrate Jesus giving a way for pagans (the Nimrod non God based man made religion worshippers) to be saved. In the Bible, God mentions Nimrod as a mighty hunter, meaning he got people to worship him instead of God. Jesus conquered Nimrod aka Satan on the cross and Easter is now the doorway for people to accept Jesus as the way to the truth and light of God where you find the Holy Bible and God’s Holy Days and all kinds of good stuff. It is amazing how God chose Easter as the day of resurrection of Jesus as a way for all people to be saved. I Timothy 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
April 27 (2/27) Mother’s Day:
The Mother represents the religion of God that nurtures and raises the children of God. On this day, we celebrate the religion of Christianity with the Holy Bible and the New Jerusalem Calendar, and all of the Christian Mom’s bringing their children up in a Christian way. Religions are defined by their Holy Book, Messiah, calendar, holidays, and beliefs. Christianity now has the Holy Bible, Jesus Christ, the New Jerusalem Calendar with the holidays and the truth that love fulfills the law for the belief system.
April 31 (2/31) Jesus Ascension Day:
This day represents 40 days from Easter when Jesus basically said, OK I have given you enough, it is time for me to leave and time for you to grow and do great things, and then he ascended to the Father.
May 10 (3/10) Pentecost:
Represents the people becoming one mind and the birth of the Church 10 days after Ascension Day, the disciples and others were gathered together discussing what had just happened. The Holy Spirit filled the room that they were in and they all became one mind and one accord and they birthed the Church of God and Jesus Christ on Pentecost. The Church has lasted throughout the years and people have worked to bring you the Holy Bible and now you see the Holy New Jerusalem Calendar of today to unite the nations for the Kingdom of God and Jesus Christ on Earth.
June 1 (4/1)
Father’s Day:
Father’s Day celebrates God the Father who puts the Holy Spirit of truth seed into someone so that they grow in the Mother religion of Christianity. We celebrate the Father’s who choose Christian Mother’s and raise their children in Christianity.
This day is also John the Baptist Conception Day which we celebrate when God the Father sent the angel Gabriel to tell Zacharias and Elisabeth that they will have a son named John who will lead many of the children of Israel to turn to the Lord their God. John’s spirit is still with us today as you see his birthday 9 months from June 1 kicking off the first Sunday of the new year on March 1.
June 15-22 (4/15 – 22) God’s Independence Celebration:
A time for the nations to celebrate our Armed Services, Police, and Fireman who serve the nations keeping order and stopping barbaric groups from growing. Once the nations get unified we will be able to greatly reduce military expenditures and transfer that money to rebuilding nice places on Earth.
July 4 (5/4) United States Independence Day:
Celebrates the birthday of the United States of America and the great Christian country that it has grown into. July 4th is always on a Friday on the New Jerusalem Calendar which makes a nice 3 day holiday weekend every year. Other nations can place their Independence Day on the calendar where it serves them best taking their local weather into account if they want to have parties, parades, fireworks and cookouts.
August 15 (6/15) Labor Day
Celebrates the contributions that workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and wellbeing of the country.
September 1 (7/1) Feast of Trumpets:
Celebrates the birthday of Jesus the spiritual trumpet (messenger) of God. Good time to put your manger scenes of baby Jesus out for display.
September 10 (7/10) Day of Atonement:
A time to evaluate yourself and see if you are living a life pleasing to God. Also it is the Niagara Falls Autumn Equilux, when daytime is about equal to nighttime at Niagara Falls.
September 15-21 (7/15 – 21) Feast of Tabernacles:
Celebrates the tribes of Israel being delivered from Egypt. The people of the tribes of Israel were basically being treated like slaves under Pharaoh so it is a celebration of God and Moses leading the people out of slavery. Also, it celebrates the ingathering of the people to turn toward Jesus at the end of the feast.
September 22 (7/22) Last Great Day:
Celebrates the day that Jesus stood up and said that if anyone wants to know the truth, come to him. This is the last day of God’s 7 Holy Days given to us with dates in Leviticus 23. You see the original 7 Holy Days on the calendar in white numbers. The other holidays on the calendar are freewill holidays that Christians have developed over the years.
October 13 (8/13) Halloween:
A day for people to dress up and have some fun decorating the house and carving pumpkins and passing out some candy.
November 3 (9/3) All Saints Day:
Celebrates all of the people who made sacrifices to help spread the knowledge of God and Jesus Christ all over the Earth. This is a time to take a moment to appreciate their sacrifices.
November 7-8 (9/7 – 8) Thanksgiving:
A time to give thanks to God for our blessings and have a nice big dinner with family and friends.
November 11 (9/11) Truth Day:
God is a Spirit of Truth and Love. Truth Day celebrates God the Spirit of Truth and helps society stay focused.
December 1 (10/1) Jesus Conception Day:
Celebrates the angel Gabriel appearing to Mary by the Holy Spirit of God that she will conceive in her womb and bring forth a son and name him Jesus. 9 months later Jesus is born on the Feast of Trumpets Sept 1.
December 1-8 (10/1-8) Festival of Lights:
Celebrates all of the truths of God that give spiritual light to the people. It also is the time when Jesus was older and made the bold statement to the people that he was one with the Father.
December 8 (10/8) Christmas:
The 8th day of the Festival of Lights. It is a day to celebrate God the Father of lights. James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
And God’s greatest gift to humanity, Jesus Christ (but not Jesus birthday because remember that his birthday is now on the Feast of Trumpets in September). It is OK to have fun with Santa and the reindeer, Christmas trees, and pass out gifts. Christmas is always on a Sunday.
December 9 (10/9) Boxing Day:
Is the Monday after Christmas and is a holiday to box up the gifts and clean up and relax and prepare to go back to work or school on Tuesday.
January 27 (11/27)
Love Day:
Celebrates God the Spirit of Love. Another holiday to help keep society focused throughout the year. It is OK to send Valentines and chocolates and have fun with the holiday. It celebrates the message of Jesus to show love toward one another.
February 14-15 (12/14 – 15) The Feast of Purim:
Near the end of the year and celebrates God’s people being saved from destruction.
So there is a brief description of the holidays on the New Jerusalem Calendar which are in synch with a public school system and work production system so we can all live easier lives.
Sincerely,
Russell James Ewert
